Lieutenant Colonel Warner is assigned as the Secretary of War Executive Fellow for Equinix, a global data center company. Prior to this assignment he held O-5 acquisition command as the Product Manager for Future Weapon Systems responsible for the Marine Air Defense Integrated System counter-unmanned aircraft system capability under Program Manager Ground Based Air Defense, Program Executive Officer Land Systems.
Lieutenant Colonel Warner has 5 years program management experience, and 3 years contracting experience. He laterally moved into the Marine Acquisition Officer MOS in 2020 and served as the Project Team Leader for the Fuel and Water Team, Program Manager Engineer Systems, Logistics Combat Element Systems, Marine Corps Systems Command until moving to Ground Based Air Defense in September 2023.
Lieutenant Colonel Warner entered the Marine Corps in 2001, serving as a reservist Basic Hygiene Equipment Operator until 2008, deploying in 2003 in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM. He commissioned in 2008 and attended Naval flight training until redesignating as a Ground Supply Officer. In 2012 he activated the supply account for 3D Law Enforcement Battalion, III MEF Headquarters Group. In 2014, he was selected for Naval Postgraduate School and earned a Master of Science in Contract Management. In January 2017, he deployed as a Contingency Contracting Officer to CJTF-HOA, supporting Operation ENDURING FREEEDOM. In August 2017, he reported to Quantico for a Supply Officer tour and also served as the Logistics Operations Branch Head for TECOM (G-4) until selected for acquisitions.
On 22 June 2026, LtCol Warner assumed the duties of Director, Joint Intermediate Force Capabilities Office.
Lieutenant Colonel Warner holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Ferris State University, and a M.S. in Contract Management from the Naval Postgraduate School. He also holds certificates in Management from University of Maryland University College-Asia, Supply Chain Leadership from Penn State University, and Program Management Advanced DAWIA certification.
Lieutenant Colonel Warner’s personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
