Joint Staff Branch (JSB) supports the CMC, Operations Deputy (OpsDeps), and DepsOpsDep in discharging their assigned functions for joint matters and provides the coordination of USMC Service positions to joint actions in accordance with MCO 5216.21.  The JSB acts as the Joint Staff point of contact to coordinate the Marine Corps process supporting meetings in the JCS conference room (Tanks) to include coordinating attendees, scheduling, staff work, and quality control of preparation materials.  The JSB analyzes all Joint Staff actions and assigns to appropriate Marine Corps agencies and tracks all actions for quality, completion, and archiving.  The JSB manages and coordinates Marine Corps review and approval of all Joint and Allied doctrinal publications, ensuring accurate representation of Marine Corps capabilities and interests.
