In support of the CMC and DC PP&O’s role as Office of Primary Responsibility for Global force posture and DPRI, Global Posture Division (PD) provides force posture expertise; represents HQMC at DON, Navy, OSD and Joint Staff posture forums; governance and programmatic oversight for the Pacific Posture Enterprise (PPE); conducts DPRI-specific advocacy; and ensures compliance with international agreements related to posture. Provides policy oversight, programmatic planning and supervises execution in support of emerging Indo-Pacific initiatives while posturing the Marine Corps to meet DoD global posture objectives and support INDOPACOM requirements.
